VA DGIF Headquarters

The Region I Office Building of the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is located on an environmentally sensitive site adjacent to the VCU Inger & Walter Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences along the James River in Charles City County, Virginia. The project is comprised of 7,900 sf of Office and 3,600 sf of Maintenance and Storage facilities. The buildings are placed lightly upon the land with simple and green construction criteria and materials while protecting adjacent wetlands and preserving the site for future research. LEED Certification has been obtained.
