Classroom & Faculty Office Renovations

University of Virginia School of Law

Train & Partners Architects has undertaken several renovation projects at the University of Virginia School of Law. Our work there is illustrative of the quality of our design solutions, the high level of service provided, and the attention paid to the needs of our clients.

A classroom renovation project included the complete demolition of two existing 150-person lecture spaces in Withers Hall and the construction of faculty offices, seminar room, and two smaller lecture classrooms (45-person and 80-person capacities). The work included all new finishes, new floor system, and new HVAC and electrical systems. Work was completed on the classrooms at the end of January, 2007.

We are continuing our work at the Law School with the renovation of the library in Withers Hall to provide a new Special Collections area and 15 faculty offices. Construction is scheduled to begin in the late spring of 2008.
